Questions

Short answers about the printer, Plus, your birth date and your slips.

Is Slipmatic free?

Yes. Every machine prints the day's reading for everyone, the quotes are free, and so are the holiday machines and the widget. Slipmatic Plus adds the reading for your own sign, a Mystery Roll every month and festival gifts.

What does my birth date do?

The app works out your Western sign, your Thai birth day and your Chinese year on your phone. To fetch a reading it sends only the sign, the day or the animal, never the date.

Where do the readings come from?

From our own reading service, built on AstroM8. Every slip is for entertainment and reflection: no lucky numbers, no predictions about health or money.

How do I cancel Plus?

Plus is sold by Apple. Open Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone, at least a day before it renews. Anything you've collected stays yours.

What's in a Mystery Roll?

One item from that month's set: a skin, paper, ink, an animal charm or a Mochi outfit. The odds are shown before you open it, and you never get a duplicate until the set is complete.

Can I keep my slips?

Yes. Tear a slip off and it stands on your shelf. Your roll holds every slip you keep, month by month. All of it stays on your phone.

Does it need an account?

No. There's no account, no ads and no tracking.

How do I get the letters?

Sign up on the Letters page. You'll get one email to confirm, then about one letter a month. Every letter has an unsubscribe link.
