Your year card: a receipt of the slips you kept, ready to share
From the day after Christmas to the seventh of January, Slipmatic prints a receipt of your year: slips kept, days played and the animals you met.
A little receipt for your year
Every slip you keep in Slipmatic goes onto your roll, one long strip of thermal paper with a rule for each month. At the turn of the year the printer adds up that roll and prints a year card, a short receipt of the slips you kept and the days you came back, made for sharing.
When you can print it
The year card is ready from the day after Christmas until the seventh of January. The rest of the year your roll just keeps growing, and all you need to do is keep the slips you like.
What it shows
- Slips kept: how many slips you tore off and kept that year.
- Days you printed: how many different days you played.
- Your machine: the machine whose slips you kept most.
- Animals you met: each slip has a little animal, and the card shows the ones you collected.
- Your promises: if you wrote New Year promises for that year, they're printed with a tick beside the ones you kept.
It signs off with "Here's to the next roll."
How to print and share it
Open Your roll and tap the print button for your year card. The printer runs it out like any other slip. When it's done, tap Share your year to send it to a friend, post it or save the picture.
Send it to the people who played alongside you and compare whose machine was whose.
The whole year, with yearly Plus
With a yearly Slipmatic Plus plan the printer runs out the long version instead, called Year in Slips. It adds your longest run of days, the medals you found, a month-by-month strip of your year and your first slip of the year.
Getting a good card
Only the slips you keep are counted, so if a slip makes you smile, keep it. An empty roll starts with the next slip you keep.
The card is made on your phone from your own slips. Nothing about your year leaves the phone unless you share it.
For entertainment and reflection.
